Josephine Porfidio, age 74, of Richmond, died Tuesday afternoon (September 12, 2006) at Reid Hospital.� She was born in Marcianise, Italy on February 9, 1932 to Domenico and Rosa Rossi Fuccia and had lived here most of her life.� She was a 30 year employee of the former Nettle Creek Industries.� Josephine greatly enjoyed and was very accomplished at cooking. She was a member of Saint Mary Church.�

Survivors include her husband - Charles Porfidio (to whom she would have been married 51 years on November 3, 2006);

Daughters - Anita (Gustavo) Gonzalez of Cape Coral, Florida,

Sister - Colomba Cristiano of Italy;

5 Grandchildren - Darcie Gonzalez, Carmen Gonzalez, Daniel Gonzalez, Matthew Richter and Katelyn Richter;

A prayer service will be held at 9:30 am on Friday (September 15, 2006) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Mary Church.� Burial will be in Saint Mary Cemetery.� Friends may call on Thursday (September 14, 2006) from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.� www.riggle-waltermann.com
