Javonda "Jody" Whitt Larsen, age 44, peacefully joined our Lord on May 20th, 2013. She was born November 9th, 1968 in Richmond. She graduated from Union High School in Modoc in 1987 and cosmetology school in 1994. Jody worked retail in Winchester and Richmond prior to becoming office manager at Hand-In-Hand Adult Daycare for the past 15 years. Jody married the love of her life, David R. Larsen, November 8th, 2008. Jody truly loved the Lord, her husband & family, close friends, Charmaine and her dachshund " Allie". Jody was truly a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all who were blessed to know her. She was a very loving, nurturing, caring, and generous woman to many throughout her life, including those at the Adult Daycare. Jody had a special relationship with her brother's children: Craig, Carolyn (Scott), Christopher (Tish), Amber (T.J) and Kyle along with their children. She also had a special place in her heart for nieces and nephews of her sisters-in law, step sisters, and step brother. Jody leaves to cherish her memory her husband David R. Larsen, parents Judy & Donald Marcum, Jerry & Connie Whitt. Big brother Jeffrey (Tammy) Whitt and sisters-in law Erica (Russell) Ray, Amy (Michael) Horneck, step sisters Karol (Jeff) Burke, Kelly (Josh) Guffey, step brother Kevin Gideon and their children , mother-in-law and father-in-law Bonnie and Richard Allen; grandmother-in-law, Betty Warp; 5 nieces, 3 nephews, 3 great nieces, 7 great nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins. Jody will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be conducted at North 27 Worship Center on Thursday (May 23, 2013) at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Robert Johnson will officiate.
