Judy A. Simpson, age 77 of Richmond, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Thursday November 2, 2023, while surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on October 10, 1946, in Clinton County, IN to Simpson Boone and Belle Ely Boone. She married Harold Simpson in Kirklin, Indiana on June 6, 1964. Judy was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother to her family. She enjoyed all types of dancing and was a member of Hoosier Corners Square Dance Club. Judy was previously the manager of Fowler Wholesale and part-owner of Low Bobs.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Harold Simpson; children Angie (Ron) Penix, Amy (Ed) Reagan and John (Anne) Simpson; grandchildren Travis (Rickkell) Lakes, Leanna (Keith) Burns, Aaron (Kelsey) Reagan, Shane Reagan, Emma Reagan, Madison Simpson and Max Simpson; great grandchildren Tristan and Remington Lakes, Maverick and Stevie Burns; dear friend Sandy Eason and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by siblings Rex Boone, Herbert Boone, Rosemary Davis, Max Boone, Jerry Boone and Martha Collins.
Father Nick Pagano will officiate services for Judy at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday November 7, 2023, at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary, burial will follow in Earlham cemetery. The family will hold a visitation for friends and family from 12:00-2:00 P.M. on Tuesday November 7, 2023, at the funeral home.
