Justin Charles Gorr, passed away unexpectedly on July 8, 2024, at the age of 38. Born in Richmond, Indiana on July 12, 1985 to Jamie Altizer (Pat) and Michael "Spike" Gorr (Cari). Justin lived a fulfilling life that touched the hearts of many. His energy and willingness to take on any challenge made him a jack of all trades, there was nothing he could not do. His work at Fremont Paving brought him joy and fulfillment, and his love for racing boats with Hydro Phobia Racing showcased his adventurous spirit and love for speed. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Left to cherish his loving memory is his wife Jolene Gorr; mother Jamie Altizer (Pat); father Michael "Spike" Gorr (Cari); sisters Kassandra Eversole (Tyler) and Patricia Altizer (AJ Wilson); adopted sister Felicia Jackson; nieces Destiny Smith, Isabella Smith, Athena Smith, Cami Smith and Hannah Wilson, all of Indiana, Mia Gonzales of California and nephew Mateo Gonzales of California; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Kay and Harrry Gonzales; special friends Brian Morris, Donald Lebon (and wife), Eric and Trever, Jessie Cain, Tim Henemyer, Troy Thomas and Sean Reece; cousins Acacia aka Nikki Debruler (Jones), Julie Paz, Zachary Braughton, Michael Braughton, Rylee Braughton, Nick Jones, Christina Smith, Candace Spurlock, Maleesa Atwell, Lance Atwell, Billy Altizer Jr., Tanner Hoskins, Brittany Eriten, Brandon McNally, Dylan McNally, Elijah Gregory and Jordan (Bubble Gum) Gregory; aunts and uncles Tina (Wayne) Vickers, Penny (Gary) Huckery, Jim (Michelle) Braughton, Paula Braughton, Heather Harey and Tara (Joe) Rains, Larry Osmer, Brandy McNally (Fred), Ashley Osmer, Brenda Atwell (Brian) and Billy Altizer (Tina). Justin is preceded in death by his grandparents Linda (James) Braughton, paternal grandfather Ralph Gorr, Aunt Melissa Hormel, Grandpa George Altizer Sr., cousins Lil Jimmy, Lil George, Elizabeth McNally, William Fields, T.J. Harris and Lil Brendan Lee.

A memorial gathering was held by the family on Saturday, August 24, 2024.
