Kathryn E. Elstro, age 83, of Richmond, died Thursday (June 24, 2010) at Golden Living Center - Oakridge. She was born in Richmond on July 7, 1926 to William J. and Erna Diem Werner and had lived here all of her life. She was a 1944 graduate of Richmond High School and was the retired office manager for Dr. Larry Ley / Urological Care. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church. Survivors include her sons - Jim (Patsy) Elstro of Richmond and Tom Elstro of Richmond; brother - William F. Werner of Bluffton, South Carolina; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild to be born in July; nieces, nephews and several very good friends. In addition to her parents, a brother, Robert Werner, and a great grandson, Jackson Andrew Howe, are also deceased. Public graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday (July 3, 2010) in Lutherania Cemetery. Pastor Brian Derrer will officiate.
