It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Kathy Ann Brown, who left us on Sunday March 8, 2026, at the age of 70. She was born in Richmond, Indiana on December 5, 1955 to James and JoAnn (Morrison) Brown. She graduated from Richmond High School in 1974 and worked for 35 years as an insurance administrative assistant at Ace USA (formerly INA and Cigna). Kathy bowled for many years traveling around Indiana, Ohio and Illinois. She made it to National competitions several times, taking her to Vegas, Reno, Niagara Falls, Los Angeles and Florida. Kathy organized her vacations around her bowling tournaments. She golfed at Highland Lake in the ladies league for a couple of years and enjoyed watching golf on television. Kathy had many hobbies including crafting and basket making. She was a kind soul and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother Stephen Brown; good friend Peggy Cain; several extended family members and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents James and JoAnn Brown.
Many thanks to her caregivers, cousin Jim Stapleton and wife Lannie, cousin Susan Sattler and husband Randy and good friends Mark and Mary Morgan. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Friends Fellowship, Rosebud Village and St. Vincent Hospital for their exceptional care.
