Kathy E. Shelford, age 21, of Richmond, died Wednesday (March 23, 2005) at her residence. She was born in Anderson, Indiana on September 27, 1983 to David and Linda Smith Shelford and had lived in the area since 1989. She was a 2002 graduate of Richmond High School where she was a member of the Girls Varsity Soccer Team. She attended Indiana University in Bloomington and was currently a student at Indiana University East. She was employed by O'Charley's Restaurant.

Services will be held at 11:30 am on Monday (March 26, 2005) in First English Lutheran Church, 2727 East Main Street. Rev. John Walker will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the RHS Girls Soccer Boosters, PO Box 1759, Richmond, Indiana 47375 or to the Richmond High School Art Department, 380 Hub Etchison Parkway, Richmond, Indiana 47374.
