Kelley R. Shaffner, age 54, passed away on Wednesday (January 18th 2017) at his residence with family by his side. He was born on June 7th 1962 to Harold Shaffner and Barbara Maner in Phoenix, Arizona. He had worked construction, and was a hard working roofer for 30 years. Kelley enjoyed rooting for Kasey Kahne in NASCAR, the Indianapolis Colts, and IU basketball. He also enjoyed grilling and a cold Budweiser. He loved spending time with the love of his life Kim, who he married on September 4th 2004. He always told her "Love you more". Kelley also enjoyed time with his 3 daughters, and his grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife Kim Shaffner; daughters Amber Scott, Vicky (Nick Ryan) Scott, Tina (Christopher Marcum) Scott; sisters Karen (Kenny) Moore, Kimberly (Willard) Shepherd; grandchildren Kelsey, Haylie, Trenton, Taylor, Nicholas, Malachi, Lucas; favorite mother in law Lorrean Nelson; several special friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services for Kelley will be held on Monday (January 23rd 2017) at 7 p.m. in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Ralph Holdeman will officiate. Friends may call on Monday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
