Obituary

Kenneth P. Corman, age 74, of Richmond, died Saturday evening (March 13, 2004) at his home after an extended illness. He was born on October 25, 1929 in Richmond to Robert and Bessie Corman and had lived here all of his life. He worked at Natco for 40 years and then worked for Midway Manufacturing Company. He had also worked at Kroger and retired from Wal-Mart in 2000. He was a member of New Life Tabernacle and was a former member of Calvary United Pentecostal Church. He was a Kentucky Colonel and was a member of the Natco 25 Year Club. He was a former member of Whitewater Lodge #41 IOOF. Kenny had devoted his life to God and serving Him for over 35 years in ministering to those in nursing homes; he held services at Oakridge, Golden Rule, Cherish and Heritage House nursing centers, He also loved singing the Gospel and sang at many churches, gospel songfests and restaurants. He wrote gospel songs for over 50 years and he loved to travel and spend time with his family

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday (March 17, 2004) in New Life Tabernacle, 4714 National Road East. Pastor Bruce Thompson will officiate. Friends may call on Tuesday (March 16, 2004) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Reid Hospital Foundation for Hospice Services, 1401 Chester Blvd. Richmond, IN 47374.
