Kevin Dean Morris, age 69 of Richmond, Indiana passed away on Friday December 29, 2023 while at home.

He was born in South Bend, Indiana on October 10, 1954 to Dean Morris and Janet Morris (Brown). Kevin married his wife Denise Morris (Patterson) on December 19, 1984. They had just celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary. Kevin retired from trucking after 31 years in December of 2019 after working for Transport America and most recently, JB Hunt. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and would watch them anytime they played. If Notre Dame wasn't playing, he would pass the time by watching old westerns or YouTube videos. He had a love for cars and motorcycles and enjoyed going to local car shows.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years and their children Janet (Skyler) Kearney (Richmond, Indiana) and Destiny Taylor (Richmond, Indiana); 6 grandchildren Corvin Kearney, Mayah Kearney, Ember Taylor, Harper Kearney, Arya Taylor, Scarlett Taylor (all of Richmond, Indiana); 1 brother Jeff (Luanne) Morris (South Bend, Indiana). He is preceded in death by his parents Dean and Janet Morris and 1 sister Ann Douglas (Morris).

Deacon Jim Miller will officiate services for Kevin at 2pm on Friday January 5, 2024, at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
