L. Diane Hines, age 72, passed away on Sunday (September 29th 2015) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Richmond on April 9th 1943 to Sam & Enid Polver and had lived here all her life. She had worked at the central kitchen for Richmond Community Schools, and later volunteered at the Richmond Senior Center. She enjoyed playing bingo, going camping, watching NASCAR, and being around her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Diane also collected cherished teddies. Survivors include her husband of 53 years Ned Hines; children Ned Hines and Cindy Hines; grandchildren Tiffany (Jake Torbeck) Hines, Andrew (Taylor) Hines, and Blake (Faith Davis) Hines; great grandchildren Derex Hines, Dakota Torbeck, Alexis Torbeck, Gabe Torbeck, Lucas Hines, Aiden Davis, and Gavin Davis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Donna Edwards. Services for Diane will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
