Lanny Gene Fultz, age 61, formerly of Richmond, died Tuesday morning (July 5, 2011) at his residence in New Castle, Indiana. He was born in Richmond on July 4, 1950 to James L. Fultz and Stella M Creech Fultz Burton and had moved to New Castle 32 years ago. He was a retired construction laborer and a member of Local 120. Survivors include his children - Michelle Fernandez of Richmond, Lanny Fultz II, Rochelle Guffey of Mooreland, Daniel Fultz of New Castle, Ashley Fultz of New Castle, Mathew Fultz of New Castle; siblings - Brenda Hicks of New Castle, Glenn W. Fultz of Webster, Indiana, Randy Burton of Hazard, Kentucky, Treva Hall of Clay City, Kentucky, Jeff Burton of Richmond, Roxie Embs of Irvine, Kentucky, Rick White of Richmond; grandchildren - Shaylon Fultz, Jaden & Brody Fultz, Millie & Dalhia Guffey, Michael Fultz, Christopher Gray, Hunter Gray, Peyton DeLucio, Brittany Baker, Dillon Fultz, Lane Fultz, Lexus Fultz, Chrisann Fultz, Brooklyn Fultz, Cameron Fultz; great granddaughter - Madacyn Fultz and one on the way; dear friends - Stephanie Ervin and David Brockman; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, a daughter, Tina Danielle Fultz, and siblings Joseph Burton, Nancy White and Michael Logan Fultz, are also deceased. Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday (July 8, 2011) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday (July 8, 2011) from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
