Larry E. Isaac, age 50, of Richmond, died Wednesday morning (May 27, 2009) surrounded by his loving family and friends at Reid Hospital due to complications after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Richmond on June 21, 1958 to Charlie "Jim" and Marie Isaac and had lived here all of his life. He enjoyed going to flee markets, fishing, painting and spending time with his family. He is survived by his parents - Charlie "Jim" and Marie Isaac of Centerville; maternal grandmother - Hazel Johnson of Richmond; niece - Jennifer Phillips of Richmond; nephew - John Luce of Richmond; aunts, uncles and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his sister - Brenda Kay Isaac Luce and his grandparents. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday (May 30, 2009) at the First Baptist Church of Centerville (109 Mattie Harris Road). Pastor James Girdley will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday (May 30, 2009) from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church.
