Larry L. Snyder, age 73, of Richmond, died Wednesday (August 27, 2008) at Reid Hospital.� He was born in Richmond on February 22, 1935 to Clarence H. and Leta Chenoweth Snyder and had lived here most of his life.� He was a 1953 graduate of Richmond High School and was a veteran of the US Army. He was a retired employee of the Richmond office of the US Post Office.� Larry was an active life-long member of First Christian Church.� He was a member of the Bible Study Fellowship and volunteered for the Area 9 Respite Care Program.� He also volunteered as a Study Buddy and for the Community Food Pantry.� He attended the Yokefellow Men's Luncheon. �Survivors include his wife of 47 years - Nancy Snyder;� daughter - Rebecca Garrison of Muncie, Indiana;� sons - Douglas Snyder of Richmond;� Bradley Snyder of Richmond and Randall Snyder serving with the US Army in Iraq;� sister - Barbara Hartman of Richmond; nieces and nephews;� great nieces and nephews. �Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday (September 2, 2008) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Rev.
