Lavonne E. Meinsen, age 79, of Richmond, died Saturday (December 22, 2012) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Greenville, Ohio on May 9, 1933 to Morris and Thelma Cruse Duebner and had lived here most of her life. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and she was a homemaker. Lavonne loved ceramics and NASCAR. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and particularly with her grandchildren. She was a member of VFW 1108 Auxiliary. Her husband, William M. Meinsen, died March 17, 2006. Survivors include her sons, Michael Meinsen of Richmond, Jeff Meinsen of Dayton, Ohio, David (Tami) Meinsen of Grove City, Ohio, Gayle (Jennifer) Meinsen of Richmond, Todd (Karen) Meinsen of Fountain City; sisters, Beverly (Bob) Wadsworth of Coshocton, Ohio, Jeannine (Kenny) Smith of Speedway, Indiana; grandchildren, Jennifer (Shane Mullins) Meinsen, Justin (Chelsea) Meinsen, Josh Meinsen, Andrew (Crystal) Meinsen, Brittney Meinsen, Dylan Meinsen, Matthew (Kyleigh) Meinsen, Tylean (Robbie Jack) Meinsen, David Meinsen, Casey (Devin) Cook, Ryan Meinsen, Beau Meinsen, Alex Meinsen ; great grandchildren, Kelsey, Kortney, Kara, Konner, Delaney, Gage, Elauna, Chloe, Damien, Camrynn, Easton; nieces and nephews; She also leaves her best friend, Ada (Bill) Roots of Richmond. In addition to her husband and parents, a daughter Christine Meinsen, brother Donald Duebner and sister Carol Graham Gibson are also deceased Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (December 29, 2012) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Charles McMahan will officiate. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery.
