Obituary

Lawrence M. "Larry" Nocton, age 73, of Williamsburg, died Tuesday morning (July 6, 2004) at his residence. He was born in Wayne County on January 8, 1931 to Michael and Elizabeth Mitchell Nocton and had lived in this area all of his life. He was a graduate of Boston High School and he was a retired dairy farmer. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and he was a member of Holy Family Church. He was also a former long-time member of the Wayne County 4H Fair Board and of the Lions Club.

Sons - Ed Nocton of Williamsburg
Dan Nocton of Williamsburg
Brothers - Robert Nocton of Williamsburg

Sisters - Frances Woolworth of Richmond
Lucille Toschlog of New Paris
4 Grandchildren - Nate Nocton, Stephen Owens, Keith Owens and
Sarah Owens

A prayer service will be held at 9:30 am on Friday (July 9, 2004) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Family Church. Burial will be in Saint Mary Cemetery where military graveside services will be conducted by the Wayne County Veteran's Council. Friends may call on Thursday (July 8, 2004) from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
