Lee Edward Halcomb, age 80, of Richmond, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday (October 13, 2010) at his residence. He was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky on July 1, 1930 to John and Offie Fry Halcomb and had lived here for the past 50 years. He had worked for Wallace Metal and Johnson Sheet Metal. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Myrtle Halcomb; daughter - Sharon (Bill) Bartley of Jacksonville, North Carolina; granddaughter - Melissa (Anthony) Caskey of Richmond; grandson - Joseph (Lydia) Bartley of Honolulu, Hawaii; great granddaughters - Mattilyn and Hannah Caskey; sister - Dorothy Hatfield of Richmond; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, two brothers and two sisters are also deceased. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday (October 16, 2010) in Goshen Cemetery. Aaron Jordan and Mark Sigmon will officiate. Friends may call on Friday (October 15, 2010) from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary
