Lester L. Gray, Jr., age 67, of Richmond, died Sunday morning (September 30, 2012) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Richmond on March 26, 1945 to Lester Sr. and Ida Merritt Gray and had lived here all of his life. He had worked as a machinist and had served in the Army Reserves. Survivors include his wife of 46 years - Debbie Gray; children - Brian (Becky) Gray, Annette (Mark McIntosh) Huber and Serena Amador all of Richmond; siblings - Kathryn Freeman, Arthur (Barbara) Gray, David (Barbara) Gray all of Richmond, Terri (Dean) Wuertemberger of Charlotte, NC, Steve (Diane) Gray of Richmond; grandchildren - Dustin Huber, Larissa Boston, Lindsey Gray, Chelsea Remirez, Cheyene Mann, Jack Lathrop; great granddaughter ��" Keyonna Gregory; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday (October 6, 2012) in Christ Jesus Community Church (500 Elks Road - in the Community Christian School). Rev. Bill Jackson will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
