Linda Shaffer, age 72, of Richmond, Indiana died on Saturday (July 7, 2018) while visiting friends in Mooresville, Indiana. Linda was born on February 23, 1946 to Jesse and Mary Baker in Wayne County. She spent several years working as a machine operator for Imperial Products. Linda got a lot of joy out of the small things in life like sleeping, watching tv, visiting with the grandkids, or just taking a long car ride.

Linda is survived by her children James Fields, Brenda Broughton, Thomas (Sharon) Hormel, Sarah (Kenny) Howard, Robert (Brandy) Hormel, and 3 step children; brothers Jimmy and Butch Delhagen; several grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by sister Iccy Ann Jackson; grandson William Hicks; and daughter in-law Melissa Hormel.

Service will be held Friday (July 13, 2018) at 2:00 P.M. at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will immediately follow at South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin, Indiana. Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Friday (July 13, 2018) at the funeral home.
