Linda Lou (Tucker) Peacock, beloved mother and wife, died on February 14, 2025, after a long illness. She passed peacefully in her sleep, she was 72.

Linda was born in New Castle, Indiana on December 5, 1952. She met her future husband, Jerald Peacock, while working at the K&J when she was 15 years old. They married in 1971 on April 22 and spent 54 years together.

Linda loved working at Lemon's Florist and the Eagles. Her hobbies included playing cards, crocheting, playing bingo and thrifting. Linda loved her grandchildren Ashley (Jake) Varble, Pete (Tate) McDaniel, Cade (Brailey) Richey, Lauren Richey, Maidson, Claire and Robbie Peacock and great grandchildren Addison and Abigail Varble and Cailey Richey.

Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jerald; children Angela (Pete) McDaniel, Sherrie (Ken) Richey, Robert Peacock and Jerald (Vicki) Peacock all of Richmond, Indiana. In addition to her parents Anna Mae Prescott and Herbert Coleman Tucker, Linda is joined in rest by her son-in-law Pete McDaniel, brothers Herbert Tucker and Frank Tucker and sister-in-law Nancy Tucker.

Services for Linda will be held at 5:00pm on Thursday February 20, 2024 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 3pm-5pm at the funeral home.
