Obituary

Lois L. Baker, age 90, of Richmond, died Sunday morning (November 2, 2008) at Forest Park Health Campus.� She was born in Richmond on November 12, 1917 to Burgess and Lela Jordan McMahan and had lived here all of her life.� She was a 1936 graduate of Morton High School and was a retired 37 year employee of NATCO.� She was a member of Saint Andrew Church and of the NATCO 25 year Club.� She was a member of the Richmond Senior Center where she served for several years in the Chorus and in the Kitchen Band.� Her husband, Kenneth P. Baker, died in 1977�Survivors include her niece - Cynthia (Brent) Haworth of Richmond;� nephew - Wilmer Tye (Vicki) McMahan of New Madison; sisters-in-law - Lois McMahan and Thelma Daugherty both of Richmond;� great nieces - Christine Haworth, Heather Bogielski, Shannon Kushner; great nephew - David McMahan.�In addition to her parents and husband, a sister Lucile Harter and brother, Wilmer McMahan are also deceased.�A prayer service will be held at 9:30 am on Wednesday (November 5, 2008) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Andrew Church.� Burial will be in Saint Andrew Cemetery.� Friends may call on Tuesday (November 4, 2008) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.� Memorial contributions may be made to Seton Catholic High School, % 240 South 6th St. Richmond, IN 47474 or to the Reid Hospital Foundation for Hospice, 1100 Reid Parkway, Richmond, IN 47374.� www.riggle-waltermann.com
