Loren J. Shepard, age 64, of Richmond, died Thursday morning (May 10, 2012) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Richmond on November 12, 1947 to Hershel and Vera Pritchard Shepard and had lived here all of his life. Survivors include his sisters - Melva (James) Brown of Oxford, Ohio, Nancy (Gary) Via of Richmond; brother - James (Judy) Shepard of Dayton, Ohio; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, two brothers, Richard Shepard and Jack Shepard, and a sister, Sue Stafford, are also deceased. Public graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday (May 16, 2012) in West Point Cemetery in Liberty, Indiana. Chaplain David Hogg will officiate.
