Lorrean L. Nelson, age 75, passed away on July 6, 2022 at IU Health in Indianapolis. She was born in Richmond, Indiana on September 11, 1946 to Ralph Lantz and Dorthea Carlin Marsh. She attended Dixon-Israel School in Eaton and was a devoted mother and homemaker. Lorrean didn't know a stranger and loved her family fiercely. She was a hard worker, enjoyed crocheting, and loved her little getaway shopping trips. Lorrean had an infectious smile and a contagious laugh. She loved her farmhouse, fresh produce from their garden but most of all her family get togethers. She was a wonderful, loving woman and will be dearly missed by many.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Marshall (Kristy) Nelson and their children Marshall, Jonathan and Dylan; Jimmy (Kasmira) Driskill and their children Hannah, Haven, Hayden and Gideon; Barbara Driskill and her children Ashley, Mark, Destiny and Cory; Mindy (Kenny) Nelson Riddell and their children Whitney and Patorian; Kim (James) Holliday and their children Amber, Vicky and Tina; fiancé Homer Eversole; siblings Beanie Edwards, Diane Reynolds, Linda Thatcher, Charles Marsh, John Marsh and Judy Whipple; 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Lorrean is preceded in death by her sister Beverly Conway and husband Norman Nelson.

Services for Lorrean will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday July 12, 2022 with a visitation from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Gary Reynolds will officiate.
