Lowell R. Sheets, age 83, of Centerville, died Saturday (June 30, 2007) at Reid Hospital.� He was born on October 30, 1923 in Union County, Indiana to Joseph D. and Ollie Ramey Sheets and had lived in this area all of his life.� He graduated from Kitchel School.� He married Alma T. Brelage in Richmond on January 11, 1947 and with her celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past January.� He had worked at Crosley and retired from Richmond Gear Works in 1985.� He was a member of Central Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife - Alma T. Sheets;� son - Ronald (Linda) Sheets of Fort Wayne;� daughter - Brenda (Jeffe) Johnson of Centerville;� three grandchildren - John Sheets, Carrie Johnson and Kevin Johnson;� two great grandchildren;� a sister - Ada Turner of Richmond;� nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, an infant son, Larry Alan Sheets, and a sister, Esther Hart, are also deceased.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday (July 5, 2007) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Pastor Mark Irwin will officiate.� Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.� Friends may call on Wednesday (July 4, 2007) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
