Obituary

Madeline McLear, age 90, of Richmond, died Sunday evening (December 12, 2004) at Oakridge Rehab and Specialty Care. She was born in Wayne County on May 10, 1914 to William Edgar and Ethel Mae Mock Goodson and she attended school in Centerville. She developed a great love for fishing and was a gifted artist in ceramics having taught classes in her own studio. She had moved back to Richmond this year from Rising Sun. She was a bookkeeper and had worked for Vigran Realty and for Julian's Fashions..
Survivors include - Daughter - Phyllis (husband Bob) Pardieck of Richmond
Brother - Rev. Donald Goodson of Staten Island, New York
Sister - Alma Merkamp of Richmond
Grandsons and Great Granddaughters -Michael E. (wife Lisa) Pardieck and their daughter Shainna of Richmond
- Daniel (wife Jennifer)Pardieck and their daughter Allison of Greenwood, South Carolina
Step Grandchildren - Mary Nelle (husband Mark) Herold

James White
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl W. Cheesman, her second husband, Frank Cox, her third husband, Harry McLear.and her brother, Rev. Robert Goodson.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday (December 17, 2004) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Bill Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday (December 17, 2004) from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Christmas Fund, 707 South "A" Street, Richmond, IN 47373
