Marceil K. Jeanes, age 89, passed away on Monday (December 26th 2016) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Brookville on February 18th 1927 to James & Mary Klemme, and had lived in this area all of her life. She had worked at Starr Piano, Miller Bros., and later retired from Alcoa after 21 years. She had been a member of First Christian Church, and had played the organ at her church in Boston. Marceil was a gracious, kind, sweet, and selfless person who was dedicated to her family.
Survivors include her sons Terry Jeanes of Cincinnati, and Tim Jeanes of Chicago; Grandsons Ryan Jeanes, Ryder (Catherine) Jeanes, and Zachary (Jacquelin) Jeanes; great grandchildren Indiana, Ella, Layla; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Marvin Jeanes. Her sisters Reva, Martha, Ruth & Harriet; and brothers Howard, Nolan, & Gordon have preceded her in death.
Services for Marceil will be held on Friday (December 30th 2016) at 1 p.m. in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Cindy Ploughe will officiate. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville. Friends may call on Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
