Margaret A. "Peg" Gaddis, age 88 of Richmond, died Wednesday morning (March 10, 2004) at Friends Fellowship Community. She was born in Ohio on December 20, 1915 to David and Wanda Pentz Byers and had lived here most of her life. She was a retired employee of National Automatic Tool Company and was a life-long member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include: Daughter - Linda (husband Michael) Charman of Muncie
Grandsons - Steven (wife Jama) Gaddis of Muncie
Scott (wife Gina) Gaddis of Superior, Colorado
Andrew (wife Amie) Gaddis of Fishers, Indiana
Step-son - Bill Gaddis of Muncie
Step-granddaughter - Sue Ellen (husband Harry) Stewart of Londonderry, New Hampshire
Eight Great Grandchildren - Matthew Gaddis, Garrett Gaddis, Brandon Gaddis, Ayden Gaddis, twins Elleana and Isabella Gaddis, Elizabeth Stewart and Andrew Stewart
Niece - Barbara (husband Floyd) Blanton
Nephew - Dale (wife Anita) Winters
Several great nieces & nephews including Brad (wife Elaine) & Brian Crowder and David Winters
Her parents, her husband, Garrett Gaddis, and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Winters Crowder, are also deceased.
A public service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday (March 13, 2004) in Earlham Mausoleum. Rev. Jim Miller and Rev. Dixie Miller will officiate. There will be no public calling. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation of Indiana, 5532 West Raymond Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46241-4305 or to a favorite charity.
