Margaret A. "Peggy" Owen, age 82, of Richmond, died Thursday morning (March 10, 2011) at Forest Park Health Campus. She was born in Cambridge City on July 3, 1928 to Grover and Rena Weir Jefferies. She was a homemaker and had worked for Nettle Creek Industries and for Elder Beerman. She was a former member of the Order Of Eastern Star. Survivors include her daughter - Becky (David) Shaw of Richmond; son - William Owen; brother - William Jefferies of Richmond; grandson - David Shaw; great grandchildren - Maxwell Shaw and Alexandra Shaw, nieces and nephews. A grandson, Robert Allen Shaw, a sister - Jean Strait; brothers - Chester, Grover, James, George and Charles Jefferies are also deceased Private services will be conducted on Monday (March 14, 2011) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Eldon Harzman will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. There will be no public calling.
