Margo Ann Kreider, age 74 passed away August 1, 2024, peacefully at home. She was born in Winamac, Indiana on March 1, 1950, in Pulaski County. Margo was a graduate of Winamac Highschool in 1968 and attended Ball State University where she obtained her degree in Special Education in 1973.
She married Dennis Kreider on November 10, 1973. Margo and Dennis were married almost 25 years and together they raised two beautiful daughters Katrina and Kristina. Margo dedicated her career to serving others. With a degree in special education, she began her professional journey at Richmond State Hospital, specializing in the care of children with special needs. Later, she transitioned to roles at Baxter Cafeteria, Baxter PTO, and Long's Grocery.
In 1996, Margo fulfilled her most cherished role as a grandmother. She lovingly cared for her grandchildren, Kendrick, Karleigh, and Kameron.
Margo enjoyed watching NASCAR and golf. Her kind heart extended to animals, and she kept a green thumb for nurturing houseplants. She was a devoted member of the Eastern Star. In her later years, she cherished spending time with friends at Greenwood Apartments.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Katrina (Danny) Caldwell, Kristina (Jason) Maxwell. Grandchildren; Kendrick Kreider, Karleigh Caldwell, Kameron Satterfield, Natalie Maxwell, Rayanna Maxwell, as well as three Great Grandchildren; Amariana Dixon, Elijah Kreider, Helena Cillo and her Greenwood Apartment family. She is preceded in death by her ex-husband Dennis Kreider.
A visitation will be held from 5pm-7pm on Tuesday August 6, 2024, at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary with a short service to follow at 7pm.
