October 15, 2007 Marguerite Duke, age 102, formerly of Boston, Indiana, died Sunday afternoon (October 14, 2007) at Golden Living Center �" Golden Rule. She was born in Jay County, Indiana on August 30, 1905 to Daniel H. and Lucinda Cull Rosenbush and had lived most of her life in the Boston area. She was a 1926 graduate of Ball State Teachers College where she received a life-time teaching certificate. She had taught school in Jackson, Indiana and Boston, Indiana schools and she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Boston Christian Church, and had been a member of the Boston Home Economics Club, the Richmond Women's Club, and the Boston Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Her husband, Leonard Duke, died on December 1, 1973. Survivors include three sons �" Richard (Neva) Duke, Don (Sue) Duke and Darrel (Anne) Duke all of Richmond; daughters �" Dorothy (Lyle) Berger of Cheney, Washington and Karen (Sam) Addleman of Richmond; 12 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, 8 Great Great Grandchildren, a special former son-in-law, Ross Rhinehart, nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Harry, Fred and Dolph Rosenbush, and a sister, Mabelle Zeh, are also deceased Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday (October 19, 2007) in Riggle �" Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. James Spon will officiate. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Thursday (October 18, 2007) from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
