Marguerite C. Hamilton, age 89, of Richmond passed away Thursday (October 25, 2018) at Rosebud Village Nursing Home. She was born on March 6, 1929 to Roman and Eva Aubun Vosmeier in Richmond, Indiana. Marguerite was an avid bowler that loved getting out and traveling. After retiring from McDonalds in 1996, she enjoyed spending her time with her family, playing cards at YMI and going out to dinner with her friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Cathy (Chuck) Glidewell, John Hamilton, Carol (Mike) Elsrod, Jamie Hamilton, Steve (Diane) Hamilton, Jan (Don) Busby, Danny Hamilton and Doug (Pam) Hamilton; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Howard John Hamilton; brother Roman Vosmeier and sister Madeleine Wallace.
Liturgy of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday (November 3, 2018) at Holy Family. Father Kevin Morris will officiate. Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday (November 3, 2018) at the church. Memorial contributions may be made in Marguerite's name to S.E.A.S.P. for St. Mary Catholic Church 240 South 6th St. Richmond, Indiana.
