Marilyn Lane, age 88, formerly of Richmond, died Sunday afternoon (October 7, 2012) at the Heritage Club Mountain View in Denver, Colorado. She was born in Richmond on August 30, 1924 to Horace and Donna Hyde Parker and lived here all of her life until moving to Colorado. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and a life long member of First Christian Church and a former member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority. Her husband, Eugene Lane, died March 15, 1993. Survivors include her daughters - Becky (Don) Worford of Denver, Colorado and Debra Falk of Cheyenne, Wyoming; sister - Sue Goodrich of Abilene, Texas; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Monday (October 15, 2012) in Riggle - Waltemann Mortuary. Rev. Amanda Hines will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday (October 15, 2012) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
