Marjorie Carpenter, age 78 of Richmond passed away Tuesday (August 30, 2016) at Ambassador Health. She was born in Richmond on July 28, 1938 to Walter and Ruth Casky Wyatt. Marjorie loved to cook, she always wanted to make sure you had something to eat. She enjoyed gardening, going to church at First Church of the Nazarene and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons Randy (Heather) Carpenter and Rusty Carpenter; grandchildren Drew Carpenter, Nick Marshall and Abby Carpenter; several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Ralph who passed away in March of this year.
Services for Marjorie will be at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday (September 6, 2016) at Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will follow in Earlham Cemetery. Pastor Allen Henderson will officiate. Friends may call on Tuesday (September 6, 2016) from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
