Marjorie F. Prather, age 84, of Richmond, died Monday afternoon (September 13, 2010) at Golden Living Center - Golden Rule. She was born in Richmond on July 27, 1926 to Adley C. and Martha Ann Hammons Bell and had lived here most of her life. She had worked for Alcoa and for Kroger. Her husband, Ira A. Prather, two sons - Timothy Keel Horn and Howard Delbert Gillette, and three brothers - Nelson, Otis and Eugene Bell are also deceased. Survivors include her granddaughter - Jesse Lee Gillette of Minneapolis, MN; brother - Roland "Jack" Bell of Sun City West, AZ; sister - Ethel May Bell of Richmond, nieces, nephews and cousins. Private graveside services will be conducted on Saturday (September 18, 2010) in Goshen Cemetery. Rev. Scott Bell will officiate.
