Mark Alan Groves, age 66 of Union City, Indiana died peacefully on Friday September 5, 2025. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on August 31, 1959 to Chester Groves and Judith Jeanes Groves and had lived in the area all of his life. Mark was member and Deacon of South Salem Church of Christ, he also became an ordained minister in 2024. Mark was very handy with his hands, being a mechanic he could work on most any type of equipment. His previous employers include True Cast, New Holland, Family Tradition, John Deere, Mick's Farm and Land Star.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings Laurie (Donnie) Miller, Lisa Peters, Floyd (Sharon) Groves; nieces Amanda (Josh) Bergfield, Kailee'ann Smith; nephews TJ Miller, Adam Groves, Drake Groves, Cody Groves and Kyle Peters. He is preceded in death by his parents Chester and Judith Groves; siblings Jon Groves, Teddi Hines, Marseda Groves and Eric Groves.

Pastor Dean Wasson will officiate graveside services at 2pm on Friday September 12, 2025 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville, Indiana.
