Martha B. Bradshaw, age 97, of Richmond, died Thursday (May 6, 2004) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Wayne County on September 28, 1906 to George and Anna Hursting Selm and had lived in this area all of her life. She was a life-long member of Saint Andrew Church where she was a charter member of the former Saint Anne's Altar Society. She was a homemaker and had worked as a teacher's aid. She had volunteered as a Gold Lady at Richmond State Hospital and she was an active member of the Richmond Art Club. She taught art classers for many years in this area. Her husband, Thomas Bradshaw, died on August 4, 1990.

A prayer service will be held at 9:30 am on Tuesday (May 11, 2004) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Andrew Church. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Monday (May 10, 2004) from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
