Martha Ellen Floyd, age 96, of Columbus, Indiana, passed away Sunday evening (December 16, 2012) at Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. She was born in Richmond on November 18, 1916 to Walter and Oda Morgan and was a graduate of Morton High School. For many years, she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in New Paris and of the Good Sams Camping Club. She and her husband traveled for many years after their retirement and spent winters in Florida and summers in Richmond and Columbus. They enjoyed taking cruises. Her husband, David Floyd, died January 5, 2000. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Ketron and Jayne Brown of Columbus, Indiana; grandchildren, Teresa (Richard) Rodgers, Mike (Janet) Ketron and Lisa (G.J.) Kelly all of Columbus, Kimberly (Wesley) Ledbetter of Indianapolis, Kristy (Nick Miller) Keesling of Pendleton, Indiana; 14 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; a loving niece, Ann (Randy) Stolle, of New Paris, Ohio and extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers, 2 sisters and a great granddaughter. Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday (December 19, 2012) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary (32 South 11th Street, Richmond, IN). Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday (December 19, 2012) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
