Martha J. Morgan, age 88, of New Paris, Ohio, died on Friday afternoon (February 17, 2012) at her residence. She was born in Richmond on April 24, 1923 to Peter and Ruby Parker Doherty and had lived here all of her life. She was a retired employee of Alcoa (Silgan) and a member of Saint Mary Church. Her husband, Allan Morgan, died in 1974. Survivors include her sister-in-law - Delores Doherty of New Paris; niece - JoEllen Stanfil of California; nephew - Philip Doherty of New Paris. Two brothers, Bud Doherty and Philip Doherty, and a sister, Katherine Hendrix, are also deceased. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday (February 21, 2012) in Saint Mary Cemetery. Father Todd Riebe will officiate. There will be no public calling.
