Mary Maxine Brumley, age 86, of Richmond, died Wednesday evening (June 20, 2012) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Randolph County, Indiana on November 27, 1925 to Ora and Mae Tharp Mann and had lived in this area all of her life. She was a homemaker and had been a member of the VFW Auxiliary and of the American Legion Auxiliary. Her husband, Russell Brumley, died July 23, 2000. Survivors include her children - Steve (Lisa) Brumley of Gaffney, South Carolina, Nancy (Tim) Laughlin of Richmond, Cecil Brumley of Richmond; 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A daughter, Rosetta Roberts, died April 8, 2012. Two sisters, Patty Wooten and Betty Mann, and a brother, Robert Mann, are also deceased. Public graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday (June 25, 2012) in Earlham Cemetery Veterans Field of Honor. There will be no public visitation.
