Mary Louise Doren, age 85, of Richmond, died Saturday morning (September 13, 2008) at Friends Fellowship Community.� She was born in Richmond on October 18, 1922 to James A. and Minnie Koehler Ricles and had lived here all of her life.� She was a graduate of Richmond High School� and had been employed as a secretary at Hibberd School.� Mary Louise was an active long-time member of Faith United Lutheran Chruch and was a member and past president of the Reid Hospital Auxiliary.� She moved to Friends Fellowship Community in 2004 where she was lovingly cared for by the staff.� The residents and staff were a very special part of her life.� Her husband, Lewis Doren, died on October 16, 1998.
�Survivors include her daughters - Linda (Rick) Frischkorn of Zionsville, Sheila (Bob) Todrank of Carlsbad, CA; son - John (Susan) Abrams of Hagerstown; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and a very special friend of 60 years - Martha Morgan of New Paris.
In addition to her parents, four sisters are also deceased.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday (September 17, 2008) in Riggle - Waltermann Mrotuary.� Pastor Doug Givan will officiate.� Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.� Friends may call on Tuesday (September 16, 2008) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.� Memorial contributions may be made to Friends Fellowship Community, 2030 Chester Blvd. Richmond, IN 47374.�
