Mary M. Hines, age 98, passed away on Tuesday February 8, 2022 at Forest Park Health Center in Richmond. She was born in Palestine, Ohio on December 22, 1923 to Harold E. and Esther Siniard Gilmore. Mary had retired from Jenkins Hall at Reid Hospital and worked at the Shake Shop and McDonalds after retirement. She was an avid Cincinnati Red's fan, enjoyed watching Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O'Brien and Wheel of Fortune. She also loved to watch NASCAR and was a huge fan of Jeff Gordan. Mary dearly loved spending time with her family including her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Watching them grow gave her so much joy. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Ned W. Hines, George Hines, Marcia Copeland and Kathy Caldwell; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Ned C. Hines.

Services for Mary will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Friday February 11, 2022 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will follow in Earlham Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. on Friday February 11, 2022 at the funeral home. Riggle-Waltermann is handling arrangements.
