Mary Afrodite Marinakes, age 81, of Richmond, passed away Saturday (July 14, 2012). She was born in Greece on April 4, 1931 and leaves her memory to her loving family: her husband ��" George T. Marinakes; her children - Chris (Dan) Buckland, Ted (Lynn) Marinakes; daughter-in-law - Suzanne Marinakes; brother ��" George Darmas of Greece; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her son, Andrew Marinakes, died in 2010. We will greatly miss our loving mother and wife. Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday (July 18, 2012) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Father Mark Emrol of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (Dayton) will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday (July 17, 2012) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
