Mary E. McComis, age 72, of Richmond, died Sunday evening (December 14, 2008) at her residence. She was born in Wayne County on December 7, 1936 to Jess and Elizabeth Wilt Brown and had lived here all of her life. She was a retired employee of Belden and was a member of the Belden 25 Year Club Survivors include her daughters - Elizabeth (Charles) Palmer of Richmond, Anna Marie Parker of Winchester, Kentucky, Della Reed of Richmond and Michelle Reed of Richmond; sons - Terry Reed of Richmond and Alfred (Hope) Reed of Richmond; her father - Dale Brown of Richmond; her sister - Anna Mae (Richard) Wiesehan of Richmond; grandchildren - Amber (Ken) Washington, Brandi Parker, Curtis Stinson, Charles Stinson, Natasha Reed, Summer Parker, DeMone Reed, Charles Parker, Alicia Stinson, Jesse Reed, Terrance Parks, Lendsay Parks, Derrick Johnson, Sierra Parker, Axel Palmer, Robert Walker; great grandchildren - Blake Parker, Ma'Kiylah Jett, Jaiden Parker, Ellis Washington, Trenton Stinson, Triston Stinson; her best friend - Jeannie Wilson of Richmond and a special canine friend - "Savanah"; nieces and nephews Three brothers, Carl Brown, Ike Brown and Guy Brown, and a great grandson, Ken Washington, Jr. are also deceased.. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday (December 18, 2008) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Jim Noggle will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday (December 17, 2008) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
