Mary Louise Vogelgesang passed away on Tuesday October 4, 2022, at Reid Health.
She was born December 17,1933 to Charles and Ann DeMeo in Richmond, IN. Mary lived here all her life. She was a member of the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish and was a 50-year member of the YMI.

She worked for Western Southern Life insurance and for Richmond Community school system as Secretary for Hibberd and C.R. Richardson schools.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband James (Jim) Vogelgesang, her parents Charles and Ann DeMeo, and Brother Charles DeMeo Jr.

Survivors include her sister Alice Saul of Richmond, Brother in-law Donald (Elma) Vogelgesang of St Augustine FL. Sons Scott (special Friend Gwen Schroeder) of Richmond and Bob (Linda) Vogelgesang of Richmond; Grandchildren Christopher (Emily) Vogelgesang, Lori (Luke) Lecher and Amy (Ronnie) Coffey Great Grandchildren Declan & Connor Vogelgesang, Liam Lecher and Trey & Mackenzie Coffey

Liturgy of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday October 8, 2022, at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Father Sengole Gnanaraj will officiate. Burial will immediately follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30am-10:30am at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary on Saturday October 8, 2022. In lieu of flowers family has requested that memorial donations be made in Mary's name to Seton Catholic High School.
