Maxine M. Dalbey, age 79, of Richmond, died Sunday evening (May 23, 2004) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Bluffton, Indiana on June 23, 1924 to Joseph and Margaret O'Connell Rothermel and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a 1942 graduate of Richmond High School and she was a homemaker. Her husband, Walter I. Dalbey, whom she married on November 10, 1945, died on September 26, 1992.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday (May 27, 2004) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. John Ingerman will officiate. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing. Friends may call on Wednesday (May 26, 2004) from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
