Melda S. Russell, age 50, of Richmond, died Thursday (November 17, 2005) at her residence. She was born in New Albany, Indiana on February 23, 1955 to Kenneth H. and Pearlie Kellem Miller and had moved to this area from Harrison County in 1984. She had worked at Richmond State Hospital for several years as a chemical dependency counselor. She was a member of the Fountain City Wesleyan Church.

Pearlie Miller of Clarksville, Indiana
Brother - Mike (Sheila) Miller of Sellersburg, Indiana

A daughter and son, Mary Frances Russell and James Kirk Russell, a brother, Timothy Miller, an aunt, Mattie Jules and an uncle Frank Kellem are also deceased.
Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday (November 22, 2005) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Rob Muldoon will officiate. Friends may call on Tuesday (Novmeber 22, 2005) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
