Merle E. Robinson, age 65, of Richmond, died Tuesday morning (April 14, 2009) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Circleville, Ohio on March 5, 1944 to Kenneth and Ada Wyne Robinson and had lived in Richmond for the past 11 years moving here from Joliet, Illinois. He was a US Navy veteran and had worked as an automotive technician. He was a member of the Moose and Druids Lodges and had formerly belonged to the Eagles Lodge, the Marine Corp League and the American Legion. He is survived by five children and cousins including Russell and James Steel of Richmond, Russell Steel, Sr. of Ohio, Freddy Wyne of Tennessee; several cousins in Ohio; aunts - May Steel of Oklahoma and Betty Young of Tennessee; aunt and uncle Benjamin and Norma Wyne of Tennessee. Friends may call on Tuesday (April 21, 2009) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Burial will be later in the Dayton National Cemetery. www.riggle-waltermann.com
