Michael Allen Jacob, age 38 of Richmond passed away Wednesday (September 28, 2016). He was born in Richmond on February 1, 1978 to Michael Keith Jacob and Susan Leech Jones. Michael was always fascinated with the latest and greatest technology that was coming out, he participated in many health races and enjoyed fishing, playing poker and watching movies.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 20 years Melissa Hofmann, survivors also include his two children Makaila and Dylan Jacob; brothers James Smith and Todd Stout; nephew James Smith II and many friends. Michael is preceded in death by both his parents.
Services for Michael will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday (October 4, 2016) in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Michael's name to the Michael Jacob funeral fund in care of the funeral home.
