Michael David Wright, age 53, formally of Richmond passed away Sunday (May 10, 2015) at Lynchburg General Hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was born In Richmond on November 14, 1961 to Ronald and Barbara (Bussen) Wright. He had lived in Richmond for most of his life but had travelled to Florida where he lived for several years until his brother Doug passed away. He was the definition of a musician. He lived for music, he was a member of several bands in New Castle, Florida and Richmond including the Wright Brothers Band. Survivors include his father Ronald (Norma) Wright; siblings Cyndi (Pat) Wright, Rick (Tammy) Wright, Tim (Carlisa) Wright and Ron (Julie) Wright Jr.; step sisters Marcia Shook and Donna Cox; several nieces and nephews. Michael is preceded in death by his mother Barbara; sister Mary Ann Shaffer and brother Douglas Wright. Services for Michael will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday (May 14, 2015) at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Friends may call on Thursday (May 14, 2015) from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
