Mickie White, age 85, of Richmond, died Sunday morning (April 6, 2008) at Reid Hospital.� She was born in Richmond on December 11, 1922 to Robert L. and Frances Cohorst Flanagan and had lived here all of her life.� She was a 1940 graduate of Richmond High School and was a retired employee of the former Knowles Tool Company.� She was a member of Holy Family Church and a life member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.� She was a member of the Ladies of the Elks and Catholic Women United.�� An avid basketball fan, she had held season tickets for Richmond High School continuously since 1940.� Her husband, H. Edward White, died in 1972.� �
Survivors include her son - Dennis (Susan) White of Noblesville; grandson - Chris (Elena) White of Noblesville; nieces - Ellen (Bruce) Bueschel of Oxford, Ohio, Ann (Jerry) Judge of Richmond; nephew - Robert (Laura) VanPelt of Richmond; great nieces and nephews - Lori (John) Juerling, Kelly (Matt) Bomba, Bo (Carrie) VanPelt, Greg (Sharon) Asbury, Leslie (Howard) Holbrook, Gabriel (Lina) Asbury, Jay Judge, Kit (Bruce Hawkins) Judge;� 15 great nieces and nephews.�
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday (April 10, 2008) in Holy Family Church.� Burial will be in Saint Andrew Cemetery.� Friends may call on Wednesday (April 9, 2008) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Memorial contributions may be made to Seton Catholic High School, % 240 South 6th St.�� Richmond, Indiana 47374.
